Hours for Individual Online/Telehealth Sessions
Appointment Hours for Individual In-Person Sessions
In-person sessions are only being offered to current clients who are in distress, do not have access to telehealth, and have proof of full vaccination against COVID-19.
Hours for Administrative Issues
Phone calls and emails are typically returned in within 2 business days but can take a week during busy periods. Physical letters may take 2 weeks or more for a response. Phone calls when I am out of the office will not be returned until the week I am back in the office (and it may take several days for me to catch up on all my phone calls and emails).
The business is closed during major holidays (e.g. Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years, Independence Day, etc.).
In-person sessions will be canceled in cases of dangerous weather conditions (e.g. ice storm), natural events (e.g. earthquake), or emergency events (e.g. tanker truck spills over right in front of the building). Online telehealth sessions may be available as an alternative. If you are uncertain about whether the office is open or closed during dangerous conditions, please use your client portal to send a secure message to ask for clarification.
Online telehealth session may be canceled due to technical problems (e.g. electrical outage, internet outage, computers and mobile phones break, etc.). Phone sessions may be used as an alternative if phone service is available.
The business will be closed, no appointments will be available, and no calls will be returned when the counselor is out of the office. The office is also closed several times per year when I am on personal time (e.g. vacations). Sometimes I may be in locations where I don’t have access to phone or data service (e.g. in jury duty, camping in the middle of the wilderness). If you require more consistent services, such as for severe disorders or for frequent emergencies or crises, you may be better served by a different provider who can be available at all times throughout the year.
